Anyone watch it last night? Thought it was quiete good, almost forgotten how scary the Cold War was getting back then. Reagan moving loads of nukes onto European soil and cruise missiles here.

Yep, I'll give you that. The girlfriend, the mum and the nutty sister are all worth watching it for alone. That fact that it is fucking brilliant is also a bonus.

Don't you just love the Germans. There was no real reason why two of the main females leads should get their tits out, it didn't exactly aid the plot, but Gawd bless em, they did.

Just watched the first 3 episodes. Pretty enjoyable! I accidentally let the credits run on episode 3 and I saw a bird I know who does the hair & make up. So I texted her and asked if she could get me a date with the cute blonde girlfriend and she said sure! Good work son.

In 1983, NATO ran a huge exercise that the Russians thought was a preemptive strike. It's been reported since that only top level intervention stopped the button being pressed and that was the closest we came to wiping each other out.

I found the entire series last night on Putlocker. Had to tear myself away as its a school night.
Acting, script and the background details are absolutely superb in this.

And the background for the story actually happened.
That period in East/West Germany is acknowledged as being the most dangerous since the Cuban missile crisis, with the East geuniley beleiving that the US were going to make a premptive strike.
